As VP of Marketing for Classic Media, John brings diverse skills and experience to the managing some of the world's most beloved classic family entertainment brands including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Richie Rich, Lassie, Underdog, Mr. Magoo, pat the bunny, Lamb Chop, Little Lulu, Little Golden Books, George of the Jungle, Rocky and Bullwinkle and now Veggie Tales to name a few. His responsibilities include the creation of a character-based brand management approach to drive business across consumer product licensing and video sales as well as the development of strategic partnerships to support each brand initiative. Prior to joining Classic Media, John was the Senior Vice President of Advertising, Strategic Promotion and Brand Management for Marvel Entertainment. While at Marvel, he re-launched their superhero brands in publishing, licensing and toys leveraging the blockbuster film releases of X-Men and Spider-Man and delivering powerful programs such as the Milk Mustache campaign and Taco Bell kids meal promotion. John graduated from Cornell with an MBA and his other positions included The New York Daily News and Salomon Brothers.
